During the priest's lifetime, a Spanish war broke out So the king of that country orders all men to take part in the war. Every man is either a lover or a husband.So they leave their wives and lovers in grief and go to war .So they always ask the king of the country when we will be allowed to go home.So the king of the country decides to ban all men in the country from getting married as this is a big issue and he cannot wage war.

At that time the wedding took place in the church as usual So it was up to the former priest of the church to register the marriage.So the king forbade the marriage and registered the marriage as a punishable offense. Therefore, no priest registered the marriage.

Priest St. Valentine, who vehemently opposed the ruling, secretly performed thousands of marriages.The king hears about this secret operation. Later, St. Valentine's priest is taken into custody.

While the priest is in jail, he has a love affair with the daughter of the commander in charge of the prison camp.

The priest of St. Valentine is sentenced to death on February 14, 268.

He named his birthday February 14th Valentine's Day because he sacrificed his life for his loved ones ...
